2009 Baptist Fellowship of Zambia Resolutions
Below are the resolutions from the Annual General Meeting, August 2009.
2009 Baptist Fellowship of Zambia Resolutions
Venue: NIPA ( Local Government Training Institute) Chongwe
1. The House adopted the 2008 / 2009 financial report and 2009 / 2010 budget for our Ministry and to accomplish the programmes set in the Calendar of Activity as was presented by the Treasurer of the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia.
2. The following calendar of activities was adopted for 2009-2010 calendar year.
3. The Baptist Fellowship of Zambia resolved to affiliate into the membership with the Baptist Historical Society of Zambia.
4. The Baptist Fellowship of Zambia resolved to:
a. adopt the proposed sketch plan for the Kabwe plot, for development into a site plan.
b. Name the Kabwe premises “The Baptist Fellowship Centre”.
c. Mandate the Development Committee of the Kabwe plot as in (a) above, to proceed in making plans how Member Churches and Associations will participate in making this vision a reality.
5. The Baptist fellowship of Zambia accepted an engagement into a working relationship with Dr. Sam Sakala for him to provide “BUSINESS EMPOWERMENT STANDARD TRENDS” in churches that wish to have these trainings.
6. The following churches were adopted into the membership of the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia. These churches met all the requirements for membership as agreed by the Annual General Meeting of the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia in 1997 at David Kaunda Technical High School:
a. Great commission Baptist church – Lusaka (Chalala area)
b. Vision Baptist Church – Lusaka
c. Ngungu Baptist Church – Kabwe
d. Ngombe North Baptist Church- Lusaka
e. Gwembe Baptist Church – Gwembe
f. Anthioch Baptist Church – Lusaka
g. Shandy Grove Baptist Church – Lusaka
h. Chamukoloka Baptist Church – Lusaka
